Dana White paid Joe Lauzon $6000 to submit his friend Nick 'The Tooth' in the Octagon before UFC on FOX 5

Being Dana White’s friend must have its perks. Dude has a private jet and a cell phone with some of the world’s coolest contacts from every athletic industry. Dana strikes me as the kind of guy who could arrange a casual pickup-game of basketball with Lebron James by sending a single text message. It’s also ballerish when you hear stories of his generosity from Las Vegas waiters and waitresses, leaving the largest tips they’ve ever received from any customer. Well, last week’s UFC on FOX show has brought us a new story, the one of Joe Lauzon getting paid to submit Dana’s friend Nick “The Tooth” six times in three minutes. All of this allegedly went down shortly after the Octagon was assembled and before the UFC on FOX card started. Lauzon explained the story on this weeks episode of MMASucka Radio.

I got in a grappling match in the cage with Nick The Tooth. He’s actually a friend of Dana’s. It’s actually going to be in one of Dana’s video blogs coming up pretty quick here. Basically, the premise was that every time I submitted Nick, I got $1000 and if Nick could submit me then he got $2,500. So, I had three minutes to grapple with him and I banged out six submissions. So, I had a very good weekend.

We hope Dana’s video blogger hurries up with this video. The world is itching to see it. Bully Beatdown may be over, but MMA fans around the world still long for footage of average dudes getting into the cage with professional fighters.
