It looks like Metta World Peace watched Bones Jones throw elbows last night

Whenever the hypothetical discussion about basketball or football players making the transition to MMA comes up, Meta World Peace (along with Lawrence Taylor and Ray Lewis) always make the short list of athletes that – with six months of sprawl training – could do big things in the pro fighting world. After taking out multiple fans a few years back in Detroit, the man formally known as Ron Artest has gone further down the rabbit hole, and in an act that may or may not have been subliminally inspired by Bones Jones’ impressive display last night, absolutely nailed Oklahoma City’s James Harden with an elbow in the second quarter of a B-ball game this afternoon.
