If you’ve never heard of Ronda Rousey, then you’ve deprived yourself of the 2008 Bronze Olympic medalist judoka hailing from Santa Monica, California. Shame on you. If you could see my hand, I’m furiously shaking my finger at you in disgust. I’m also not wearing any pants while I write this, and I’m wrist deep in a box of Snackwell Devil’s Food Cake Cookies — and as you know, that’s perhaps the most gangsterish combo one can ever assemble on a Saturday morning.
Ronda Rousey has been clowning judo players for years now and on August 6th 2010, she finally made her amateur MMA debut by defeating Hayden Munoz via armbar within seconds of the first round. Since then, she’s been undefeated in amateur MMA and she’s finished all of her fights in less than a minute and all with an armbar. On March 27th 2011, she made her professional debut against the Brazilian, Ediane Gomes. I’ll give you guys one guess as to how she finished her 0:25 bout.
Now that Ronda Rousey is officially an undefeated professional fighter, it’s time for her to try her grappling expertise with Gegard Mousasi. Luckily, there’s video of it all. Props to Robert J for the find.
