At school lunch we used to play the ‘penis game’ in between eating our Salisbury steak and sugar-coated lard squares. It’s not what you think it is. One person would quietly say the word ‘penis,’ then another person would say the same word but just a tad louder. The goal of the game was to be the last person to say ‘penis’ at a level that’s uncomfortable for everyone else at the table. The game would end in some person yelling ‘penis!‘ while everyone ducked their heads in absolute embarrassment. The prize — well there was no prize. The winner was seen as an absolute loser in society. There’s nothing redeeming about that game aside from conquering your fear of being a numskull.
Of course there were other games — most of them involved the concept of the ‘anus.’ For example, there’s always the classic ‘You’re from Uranus’ joke that was made rather frequently.
