Cris Cyborg is willing to fight Ronda with one hand tied behind her back, but not at 135lbs

I’m still upset that Cyborg beat Gina Carano so badly that she never came back to fighting in Strikeforce. In some ways, I’ll never forgive her for it.  Then again, blaming Cyborg for being an amazing fighter is unfair. Maybe it’s Gina Carano I should be mad at for not coming back from her loss. Nah, that’s stupid… I can’t be mad at Gina Carano.  Just look at her. Being mad at that face is impossible. In fact, I found myself daydreaming over that photo of her and this paragraph took me fifteen minutes longer to write than it should have.  It happens every time.  Damn, I miss her.

Yeah, so now Cyborg is seeking to destroy something beautiful again, like that rawesome scene from Fight Club, but she isn’t willing to cut to 135 to do it – what she is willing to do is meet Ronda Rousey halfway at 140, and she’ll tie a hand behind her back during the fight.

“I am not afraid of Rhonda! I will fight her anywhere and anytime for free – everyone knows I barely make 145- but I am willing to sacrifice and meet her half way at 140- I can’t believe dana says I want nothing to do with Rhonda- what he wants me to do is fight Rhonda with both my hands tied behind my back or comatosed-so that she can have a chance-which is what making me fight at 135 is- to finally shut everyone up – i will fight Rhonda with one hand tied behind my Back at 140lb and still kick her ass and prove that I’m the real champ not her- and let the winner take ALL come on Rhonda step up bitch!”

This is officially the first MMA news story that originated on Instagram, so if you’ve been putting off joining because you don’t want people to think you’re a hipster – it’s officially a source of breaking news, so you should probably register an account. We’re not even sure if this is really Cyborg talking smack or Tito Ortiz (her manager) doing it on her behalf. One way or another, it came from her official Instagram account, and it continues to stir the pot of the women’s MMA world. Not exactly what else is in that pot, but it’s really starting to smell good.
