Ronda Rousey and the Horsewomen Invaded PWG in LA on Friday

Ronda Rousey in professional wrestling is something that has to happen. I’m not just saying that it would be cool or that it has the potential to make money. No, Ronda Rousey participating in pro wrestling is something that just seems inevitable. She seems to genuinely enjoy pro wrestling and there’s a very good chance that if Ronda Rousey stepped into a WWE ring at some point in the near future that she could be a bigger crossover star than Brock Lesnar ever was, doing monster business for both WWE and UFC.

There, I said it.

On Friday evening Rousey made her way to Pro Wrestling Guerrilla in Los Angeles. Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, lovingly known as PWG, is one of the premier indies on the West coast and has been responsible for a whole slew of awesome wrestling over the past few years. Ronda and the Horsewomen were in attendance and apparently Rousey got mildly involved in the action, which drove the crowd nuts. Tomasso Ciampo and Biff Busick were brawling in the crowd when Ciampo held Biff’s arms back and prompted Rousey to take a free shot, where she proceeded to do a Ric Flair-style knife edge chop to his chest, much to everyone’s delight.
