Joe Warren unifies the Bellator bantamweight belts, lands strange upside down hanging kick on Eduardo Dantas

This fight was so close that Scott Coker should force Eduardo Dantas and Joe Warren to combine their bantamweight titles so they can take on all challengers as the newly-formed Bellator bantamweight champions of the world. The fight was back and forth, and it came down to one round as every judge had it 48-47 for Warren in a great, grind-y battle.

This fight really had it all. There was Dantas flashing his pubes and his butt crack. There was Warren imposing his will on the ground while Dantas had his way on the feet. There were reversals, switches and drastic changes of momentum.

Hell, there was a Joe Warren cartwheel kick:

Then controversy almost broke out as a strange, yet fascinating position left Dantas and Warren at an impasse. Warren did the only thing he knows how to do, and attacked. Unfortunately this kick is illegal, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t completely awesome. A point was almost taken, a point that would’ve left this fight a draw.

Joe Warren is a jewel to MMA. A funky, zany, jewel.
